In the Marvel series, I would say JJ is a bit stronger. For instance, no human, regardless of training could run approx 40 mph. Yet still quite a bit stronger, faster, and more agile than any non enhanced human being. Cap's on the edge of what a human body can allow physically. No Olympic athlete, or weight trainer can reach his physical prowess. In other words, he has the strength to perform extraordinary feats, as long as they don't push his skeletomuscular system, organs, etc passed what the "normal" human body could possibly allow, without being destroyed. To clarify something, (which someone already said) Cap's strength is at the very peek of what a human body is capable of. Side note: do we ever get an in-universe explanation of why Bucky seems to have Cap-rivalling strength aside from having a bionic arm? The important point though is that Spidey is clearly stronger than all of them. I'd normally be inclined to put JJ above Luke since his power isn't strength so much as it is resilience, but the fact that she struggled to defeat him when they fought conflicts with that (though could have been a writing choice). It's difficult to say who's stronger between those two, though because their power types are very different. but without the effort or training needed to achieve or maintain it.īoth JJ and Luke have metahuman powers that, while different in nature, put them over that constraining line. Based on the premise of the SS serum, his peak is essentially as good as normal human can be - as strong as the strongest man, as fast as the fastest, etc. The way I see it, Cap is inherently the weakest. Certainly he must have been in the multiple thousands of pounds range to punch through the several feet thick concrete walls at Seagate prison, but I don't remember any definite pulling or lifting feats to base strength off of. I don't really know what his greatest feat would be on the Netflix show in terms of pure force exerted. In the comics, Luke Cage has apparently grown in strength from being able to lift 3 tons to now up to 50 tons. Still, it seems her maximum true strength is quite a bit greater than Captain America's even though she's probably much less useful in a fight. If those chains had 1/4" thick links, that could easily require 8000lbs tensile force to break, though logically whatever those chains were attached to (some kind of brackets on a wooden door) would probably break first at a much lower force. But perhaps her strongest feat is how she can snap a pretty sturdy lock and chain with very little effort whenever she breaks into buildings. Jessica Jones has wildly inconsistent strength and vulnerabilities in her series. It looked like it took most of his strength to do so, and according to this that means exerting a force of at least 3000lbs.
