It didn’t take police long to find Professor Stees. Once Helen was ⚰️, Stees put her corpse into a metal and dropped it in the middle of Dow Lake. During a supposed attempt at reconciliation, Stees hit his wife over the head with a crowbar and then pulled a plastic bag over her head to suffocate her, by cutting off her air supply. Things came to a head on October 20, 1962, when Helen, who had by this point began to start living with her parents in Ashland, Ohio, agreed to meet Stees in Athens. The two constantly fought due to Professor Stees’ infidelities. However, his marriage to his young wife, Helen, was anything but happy. Stees, 31, was an assistant professor at Ohio University. In fall 1962, Professor Gene Isaac Stees was was an evil force to be reckoned with in an already reportedly haunted place Athens, Ohio. In 2010, James was handed two consecutive life sentences in prison. He was apprehended and charged a 17 days later when police brought a cadaver dog to the family home, who tracked the scent of their rotting flesh in the cesspool. After the couple missed a family party, which was very unusual for them, they were reported missing and James Jr. After brutally murdering his parents, James went on to buy a PlayStation like nothing had happened and invited friends over for calzones in the backyard, right above the bodies. On July 9, 2008, James bludgeoned his parents to death with a garden hoe and dumped their bodies in the cesspool in their backyard. The home was raided again in 2002, this time for weapons. His father ended up doing time in prison. When James was a toddler, his parents’ home was raided and police found plenty of drugs, a gun, and over a thousand dollars worth of cash. His relationship with his parents was described as ‘’tense’’ and rocky at best. James Soares Jr., at the age of 24, was a coke-addict who was still living with his parents in Warren, Rhode Island. Tiffany pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 18 years in prison. On several occasions, the children had begged their birth mother not to return them to the trailer because Tiffany hit them. He said that they too had been beaten by Tiffany but added that Brenda used corporal punishment to discipline the children. The youngest girl who was described as being developmentally delayed, suffered a beating with a large object. During her trial, her defence argued that Tiffany had stopped taking medication for her bipolar disorder and hadn’t slept in days.Ī judge later ruled that the two sisters of Kenneth had also been abused while living with the family. She heard signs of life but instead of calling 911, she threw him over a guardrail “like a piece of trash” and covered him with snow. She claimed she had blacked out and when she came to, she was strangling him. Tiffany confessed that she had beaten and strangled the young boy after becoming infuriated that he kept giving her the wrong answers for his homework. It was quite evident that these footprints matched the boots that Tiffany was wearing when police arrived to take her statement after calling 911. Around his body police found footprints leading back to the trailer. He was partially buried in the snow approximately 100 metres from the trailer he shared with his family. Just eight hours later, a police officer found his lifeless body. The children’s parents had lost custody of them and custody was granted to Brenda.Īt approximately 1:15PM on the 18th of December, 2014, Tiffany called 911 and told the dispatcher that two masked men had burst into the home, restrained her and drove away with Kenneth. 5-year-old Kenneth White lived in a trailer in Albany, New York, with his 19-year-old cousin, Tiffany VanAlstyne, Tiffany’s mother, Brenda, and his two sisters who were 4 and 5-years-old.
